Shane Allessio is first a foremost a composer and arranger. Having majored in jazz composition at Berklee College of Music, he has decades of experience putting his own compositions forward in mostly jazz, but also funk, metal and blues bands. Having written string and horn arrangements for singer/songwriters, as well as big band arrangements (not to mention the "bass big band" for ten years at the New Hampshire Bass Fest), Shane is up for any compositional challenge.
